1. Attitude is everything. So you relapsed into old eating habits. So what go on to your goal. Keep your eye on the goal on being healthy, feeling better, having more energy. The weight loss will come whether you are perfect or not. 2. Eat Breakfast. It gets your metabolism going for the day. I very seldom eat traditional breakfast food except at night. I prefer leftovers in the morning. If it contains both fiber and protein that is good as it keeps me filled up until noon.
3. Don't count calories. Read food labels and measure once what your normal size portion is then use that information to judge how much you are eating. I like my food journal for keeping track of all this for me as I would never remember.
4. Eat Enough Especially Breakfast:
Don't leave home without breakfast in the morning it is what gets your metabolism going. Eat what you like for breakfast. I tend to like left overs. I never if ever eat breakfast food in the morning. I do like it for dinner much better. So I love left over Pizza, Bean Soup or any other kind of soup. Just eat what you like in the morning. I do eat oatmeal when I want traditional breakfast food but I prefer oatmeal cookie and hard boiled eggs they are more fast food and portable. Be sure you are eating non-processed foods and you are eating enough lots of people do not lose because they are not eating enough and the body thinks it is starving so will not let go of the fat.

6. Eat Often Or More What Suits Your Life Style. Choose how often you eat by you not someone else. Experts seem to agree that you should not go more than 5 hours without eating. I had stomach surgery so my stomach is smaller. So I cannot go that long. I eat about every 3.5 hours. I can't eat as much but I do have to eat oftener. No I did not gastric by pass surgery. I had surgery for reflux and they made my stomach just a little smaller. Only through that in here as to how you need to make allowances for your special situations.
7. Eat Citrus and Lose. Eat a half of Grapefruit before each meal and put lemon in your water or lime. would seem so in the light of evidence pertaining to the effectiveness of lemons in improving digestion and helping the body regulate the absorption of sugar. Every step counts; remember that your goal is simply to improve your fitness level. I do things like walk the stairs in my three story building. I trick myself by taking out the trash and then taking out the recycle doubled my steps. I stop by our limited gym and ride the bike for 15 min.
10. Start an exercise routine. I am kind of off mine right now but I do like ten min. of belly dancing. Then maybe later in the day I walk the stairs, then I walk to McDonald's and get coffee. They have good coffee for a dollar and I do not like their menu so it does not tempt me. I do like their salads and if I feel I have to eat I eat their salad. Sometimes I just go to the gym and play in the pool. It is exercise that is Entergizing.
